Passport & Visa - a full passport with 6 months validity is required. Visas are obtained on arrival at the airport $25 / £15.

Health - Vaccinations include diphtheria tetanus & polio (these are usually given during routine child immunisation) Typhoid and Hepatitis A. Prophylactic malaria not usually recommended for this region. Consult DSS or personal doctor. Mosquitoes are around in March / November time, otherwise generally not a problem but pack repellent if you are prone.

Currency - Egyptian Pound. Hotel accepts visa, master card or cash (Egyptian, $ or £). The centre / bar accepts travellers cheques (US$ + bank charge or £ no bank charge) and cash ($,£ or Egyptian).
